Lawn care in Trinity, NC
Trinity is spread out, and that changes what cutting a yard here actually looks like.
Trinity is bigger than it looks
Trinity is not laid out like Asheboro. The city limits run for miles, out along NC 62 and back toward Finch Farm Road, and a lot of what sits inside them is houses on big lots with real ground between them.
So a yard here is more likely to be open ground with road frontage and a ditch bank than a square lot behind a sidewalk. It takes longer, and the price follows the ground rather than the clock.
Two very different yards in one town
Around Braxton Craven and the older part of town the lots are tighter and the trees have been there a very long time. That is careful work. A mower deck and a hundred year old root system do not get along, so the weed eating around trunks, posts and beds is a real part of the visit rather than a finishing touch.
Out along NC 62 and toward the county line the ground opens up. Those are the yards where the mowing is the whole job and it simply takes a while. Tell me which one you have when you ask for a price and the number will make sense.
Where Duke University started
Trinity is named after Trinity College, which moved to Durham in 1892 and turned into Duke University. The gazebo by the old Braxton Craven school is built from the original building’s columns, and the bell in it came out of the college chapel.
The houses around it were the professors’ houses. Old houses come with old trees, and old trees come with shade, roots and an awful lot of leaf every October. Leaf blowing is a separate job from the blow off that ends a normal cut, so ask early rather than in November.
If your mail says High Point, you might still be in Trinity
Trinity sits right between Archdale and Thomasville with High Point just up the road, and plenty of people here are not sure which town they live in. Trinity is 27370, Archdale is 27263, Thomasville is 27360, and I cover all of it.
Getting up there
Trinity sits at the top of the county right beside Archdale, so I run the two together on the same day instead of making that drive twice. Want regular service here? Say so when you ask for the estimate and I will put you on that day.
What every visit includes
A full service cut in Trinity is the same four things I do everywhere else: mowing, edging, weed eating, and a blow off. Front and back, cleaned up before I pull out. You do not have to be home.
If the yard has got away from you and you want it knocked down once, that is a one-time cut. Nothing to sign either way.
Questions from Trinity customers
My lot is over an acre. Is that a problem?
My address says Trinity but everybody calls it High Point. Am I in your area?
I have a long stretch of road frontage and a ditch bank. Is that extra?
Do you get to Trinity often enough for weekly service?
Every visit in Trinity includes
The same full service cut I do everywhere else. Four things, every time.
- Mowing the whole yard, front and back
- Edging the driveway, sidewalk, and beds
- Weed eating fences, posts, and trees
- Blowing off every hard surface before I leave
Need it just once instead? That is a one-time cut, and there is nothing to sign up for.
