Leaf blowing in Trinity, NC

Big old trees around the historic part of town, big open lots out along NC 62. Both fill up with leaves in the fall.

Old trees, a lot of leaves

Around Braxton Craven and the older part of Trinity, the trees have been there a very long time. The houses around it were the professors' houses, back when Trinity College was here, before it moved to Durham and became Duke. Big old trees drop a lot of leaves, and those yards fill up fast in the fall.

That's the kind of yard that usually needs clearing more than once. Tell me about the trees when you ask for a price, and I will tell you whether one visit at the end will do.

Road frontage and ditch banks

Out along NC 62 and back toward Finch Farm Road, the lots are big, with road frontage and a ditch bank on a lot of them. Leaves blow off the open ground and settle in the ditch and along the edge of the road.

I clear those strips too. They're part of the yard, so they're part of the visit. Mention the frontage when you ask for a price and I will allow the time for it.

Same day as Archdale

Trinity sits at the top of the county, right beside Archdale, so I run the two on the same day. If you want your leaves cleared through the fall, say so when you ask and I will put you on that route.

Does your mail say High Point?

Plenty of people in Trinity aren't sure which town they're in. Trinity is 27370 and Archdale is 27263. Thomasville is 27360, and I clear leaves in all three.

Leaf blowing in Trinity: common questions

My yard is under a lot of old trees. How often should the leaves be cleared?
Usually every couple of weeks while the trees are dropping. A thick layer left sitting through the winter is hard on the grass under it. Yards with only a few trees can often be done once at the end.
Do you clear the ditch bank and the road frontage?
Yes. They're part of the yard, so they're part of the visit. Mention them when you ask for a price so I allow the time.
Do you trim the trees too?
No. I clear leaves off the ground. Trimming, cutting back or taking down trees is a different trade, and a tree service is who you want for that.
How do I know if I am in your area?
Text the address to (336) 465-6620. Trinity, Archdale and Thomasville addresses are all covered, and I will tell you straight if you're outside what I can reach.
What a leaf visit covers

Every leaf visit in Trinity covers

The whole property, not just the middle of the lawn.

  • The flower beds and the fence line
  • The driveway, the walks, and the porch
  • Leaves hauled off, or piled where you want them

One visit after the trees finish, or every couple of weeks through the fall. Nothing to sign either way.
