Two counties, one town

Archdale is a bit unusual. Most of it sits in the northwest corner of Randolph County, but the town crosses over into Guilford County as well. I cover Archdale either way. If you are not sure which side of the line your house is on, it makes no difference to me.

The town sits where I-85 meets US 311, with High Point right on the other side. That makes it an easy run for me. It also means a lot of Archdale yards belong to people who commute. They do not want to spend Saturday behind a mower.

Creekside Park country

If your yard backs up toward Muddy Creek or you walk the paved trail at Creekside Park, you already know the ground around there. Lots near the creek can hold water, and a soft yard is not something you want a heavy mower sitting on. I work around wet spots instead of tearing ruts in them.

The same full service cut

Nothing about the service changes because you are further out. Every visit is mowing, edging, weed eating, and a blow off, front and back.

And if you just need the yard knocked down once, a one-time cut works in Archdale the same as anywhere. No contract either way.

Usually yes, I just work around it. A heavy mower on saturated ground leaves ruts, so I avoid the wet spots rather than tear them up, and come back to them when they have dried out.

Do you charge more because I am further away?
