Lawn Mowing

Lawn mowing in Asheboro & Randolph County, NC

I cut your grass on a schedule that works for you. Weekly, every other week, or just when you need it.

What you get

I cut the whole yard, front and back. Straight passes, an even height, and no scalped strips where the ground dips.

Every mow includes edging along your hard surfaces, weed eating where the mower cannot reach, and a blow off before I leave. That is what I mean by a full service cut.

Pick the schedule that fits your yard

Grass does not grow at the same speed all year, and no two yards are the same. You pick what works:

  • Weekly. Best in the fast part of the growing season, when a yard can get away from you in seven days.
  • Every other week. A good fit for slower growth, shadier lots, or a budget that needs to stretch.
  • When you need it. No set schedule. Text Levi and he will come.

You are not locked in. If weekly turns out to be more than you need, tell me and I will back it off.

Why I do not cut it short

Cutting grass too short is the fastest way to hurt it. Short grass has short roots, dries out quicker, and leaves bare dirt where weeds move in. I cut enough off to keep the yard looking sharp without stressing it.

You do not have to be home

Most yards get done while people are at work. Just tell me about a gate code, a dog in the back yard, or anything I should not run over, and I will handle the rest.

Homes and rental properties

I cut houses people live in and properties people rent out. If you own a rental in Asheboro and need it kept up without thinking about it, that is an easy one for me.

Common questions about lawn mowing

How often should my grass be cut?
In the fast part of the growing season most yards look best on a weekly cut. When growth slows down, every other week is usually plenty. Tell me what you are after and I will tell you honestly what your yard needs.
Do you bag the clippings?
Usually I do not. Clippings broken up small settle into the yard and feed it. If your grass got tall enough that clumps are left behind, I deal with it so you are not left with rows of cut grass on the lawn.
Do you mow the back yard too?
Yes. A full service cut is the whole yard, front and back. Just make sure I can get through the gate.
What if it rains on my mowing day?
I cut when the yard is dry enough to cut properly. If the weather pushes me a day or two, I will let you know rather than leave you guessing.
